Heat Dissipation Technology
Barrier LED luminaires employ cutting edge heat dissipation techniques to improve thermal ef ciency and enhance natural convection throughout the luminaire. the efficient thermal design allows heat sources like the LED light source to keep the junction temperature below 149°F (65°C), and the transformer and FET of the driver to maintain a temperature difference (∆T) not more than 86°F (30°C) between the inside lead and outside temperature. this allows Barrier LED luminaires to deliver consistent, powerful illumination throughout an operational lifetime of over 50,000 hours.
